Sealed tender notice Published in “The Times of India, Ahmedabad” Dated 14.08.2018 are invited from Supplier/Industries for supply and delivery of HDPE bags for various places in Gujarat, India.

1.    Commodity:
Printed natural virgin transparent high density polyethylene (HDPE) bags as per following specification and strong enough to hold 50 Kg. Salt.

2.     Specification:              :50 Kg. HDPE bags           

a) Quantity               :1900000 (19 Lacs)bags  ±10%   
b) Material               :HDPE food grade    
c) Size of bags         :22” X 32”
d) Denier                  :900                 
e) Weight                 :90 Gram   ± 2%             
f) Mesh                    :10X10       

3.    Quantity:-
Approximately 19 Lacs ( for one year). Supplier must supply according to the buyer’s delivery schedule.

4.     Delivery:
Bags will be delivered in Kharaghoda, Halved, Gandhidham, Chirai (Gujrat) in india during the year 2018/2019. Dispatched schedules will be provided later on.

5.    Price:-
Supplier should quote the rate of HDPE bags.
Supply and delivery of HDPE bags including all cost, tax etc. per bag.

6.     Submissions of tenders:
Tenders must be sealed and addressed to Salt Trading Corporation Ltd. Kalimati, Kathmandu, Nepal subscribing on the envelope “SEALED TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF HDPE BAGS” sealed tenders must be submitted to the above address of Salt Trading Corporation Ltd. on or before 02.00 P.M. of the 15th day or next day if the 15th day is general public holiday from the date of first publication of this notice. The tender form will be available till 11 A.M. of the last submission day of the tender form for buying.

7.     Bidbond and performance bond:
The bidder must submit a bid bond (Bank Guarantee) of 2.5% of the total value of quoted amount with the tender form issued by  Nepalese commercial bank drawn in favor of Salt Trading Corporation Ltd. Kalimati, Kathmandu, Nepal or counter guaranteed by Nepalese Commercial Bank if issued from other than Nepalese Commercial Bank with the tender form for at least 3 months validity or can deposit in cash in the current account no. 008000200C of Salt Trading Corporation Limited in Sunrise Bank Limited, Kalimati, Kathmandu. The successful bidder would need to submit a performance bond issued by Nepalese Commercial Bank or with the provision of counter guaranteed by Nepalese commercial bank equivalent to 5% of the total offer value or can deposit in cash before signing the agreement and the said Performance Bond / cash would be returned after successful completion of the agreement without interest. The successful bidder should sign the contract paper within the given time and after signing the contract paper if successful contractor don’t supply the given quality and quantity or part as per specified quantity in given time, the STCL has right to seize the  performance bond (Bank Guarantee) / Cash deposited.

 8.    Payment : 
The amount of delivered bags will be paid after obtaining stamped receipt duly signed by the concerned authorities confirming the received of the goods.

9.     Taxes etc.
Any tax if payable on this transaction shall be paid by the supplier only.

10. Rejection of bid:
Incomplete bid bond and tenders received after due date shall be liable for rejection.

11.    Penalty for non-compliance:                                 
Delay in the delivery of HDPE bags as per the schedule shall be subjected to penalty at the rate of Rs.50/- per week for every 1000 bags part of a week being considered as a whole week.

12.    Rights
STCL reserves the right to accept or reject whole or part of any or all proposed sealed tenders with or without assigning any reason whatsoever. STCL also reserves the right not to release payments for the supplied quantity if it does not comply with the specification. The decision of STCL board regarding the performance of suppliers would be binding for both parties.

13.    Opening of sealed tenders:
Sealed tenders received in time will be opened at 03.00 P.M. on the 28th  August 2018 at the above mentioned address of Salt Trading Corporation Ltd. Kathmandu, Nepal in presence of attending bidders or their representatives. However, absence of bidders or representatives shall not debar the opening of bids.
